Hidden TroubleNov 06, 2006
Wouldn't buy this Simmons Mattress. I have a Simmons Thames Pillow Top that's only three years old and I'll have to eat the roughly $3,000 to get rid of it and spnd more money to buy another brand as this Simmons Mattress is no better than some cheap hammock in my opinion.
Rumor has it, that Simmons uses cheap metal for their springs that's very prone to failure. That's my problem: the springs are failing and I sink into my mattress like a hammock, killing my back. Unfortunately for me, Simmon's warranty craftly excludes them from covering this problem because when you're not on the mattress, the depression is under 2".....the golden measurement...and only measurement...for a warranty claim to be valid.
The Simmons Customer service rep told me she wished they could take back all the warranty claims....that tells me volumes.
